Office Policies
We have a number of office policies we would like to bring to your attention, allowing everyone to benefit from a more efficiently run, friendly office environment.
Appointment Times
Please keep your appointments. Your chiropractic programme is designed to maximise the benefits of care in the most cost effective manner. If you would like to change an appointment time or are unable to keep it, please notify us in plenty of time. We will try to accommodate you wherever possible.
Payment
Payment is expected at the time of each visit, unless otherwise arranged with a member of staff. You may pay by Eftpos, cash, cheque or credit card. You may prepay for more than one appointment and we have procedures in place for patients experiencing financial hardship, please direct your concerns to a member of staff.
At present ACC is the only third party we receive payment from. If an employer is paying for a patient's care, it is the patient's responsibility to liaise with their employer. Read more: Your Guide To ACC
Personal Hygiene
Please be aware that a high level of personal hygiene is expected. Our toilet has hot water and towels for your use.
Cell phones
Our Centre is a healing environment so to maximise the benefit to yourself and as a courtesy to others please switch off your cellphone for the duration of your visit.
Illness
If you are feeling unwell please try and keep your appointment if at all possible as adjustments can assist your recovery.
X-rays
X-rays are an integral part of our chiropractic analysis. If you have an accident or any other traumatic episode, please let us know. It is possible we may need to update your x-ray records after three to five years. This allows us an on-going view of any degenerative changes or serious injury.
Updating Records
The law requires us to update your records regularly. Please notify us prior to your next visit if you have not had an appointment for more than six months, to allow us adequate time to care for you properly.
Concerns
Please let us know if you have any concerns and we will attend to them as soon as possible. After all, we are only able to rectify problems if we are aware of them.
