NZCA Farewells President Corrian in Style

Corrian has been President of the New Zealand Chiropractors’ Association for five years. At NZCA’s 2016 AGM he
handed over the gavel to his very good friend and neighbouring chiropractor Dr Hayden Thomas.

Corrian was then presented with the NZCA Service Award. This award recognises his service on NZCA Council since 2007 and as President since 2011. He has led the Association through a period of dramatic change and growth and it has in place a well established governance structure supported by a number of active committees, procedures, processes and structures.

Membership, sponsorship, income and member involvement have all grown during his term as have the number of
member benefits with a highlight being the development of an especially designed Professional Development online module for members.

To cap off a special evening, councillors took great delight in presenting Corrian with the NZCA Chiropractor of the Year award. This was totally unexpected for Corrian as he had been advised that this award was not being presented this year!

for outstanding commitment as President to developing the New Zealand Chiropractors’ Association and the profession locally and internationally from 2011 to 2016.
